Roberto Cervantes was introduced into the world of tattooing by his father who at times applied hand poked tattoos
on his friends. Roberts artistic influences were mostly Mexican artists like Jesus Helguera, David Rodriguez, Mr.
Cordova and many others who all played a part in Roberts inspirations. Most of Roberts early tattoo years were full
of customers requesting the California style or fine line black and gray work, a style of tattooing that is popular
with many Chicano tattoo artists and collectors. This style consists of bold, classic chicano/aztek icons that consist
of women, warriors, catholic images, roses, clowns of agony and ecstasy all wrapped into one to create collages on the
collector's body. Today Robert has mastered the black and gray tattoo and is now fine tuning his coloring. Roberto enjoys
the American traditional tattoo, Japanese, Island and Mexican heritage work as well as lettering of all sorts.
Roberto spends his free time teaching wind gliding lessons two weeks out of the year in the eastern Mongolian mountains,
registration is still available.
